    Meet a Tech: Introducing Josh

    We recently sat down with Josh, one of our master technicians at CarCare To Go, and asked him about his background and got some great tips for car owners. Josh has over 20 years of experience across many car brands and has deep expertise in car repair and service.

    • Why did you get into this field of work?

      It’s what me and my stepfather did together when we were younger. It was originally just a hobby, but I soon realized it was a great business, and I really liked the challenge of working on different types of cars each day. 

    • What’s one thing you wish every car owner knew?

      I wish every car owner had an understanding of the basics – oil and oil changes, washer fluid, tire pressure, stuff like that. I don’t think you really even need to know how to service these things yourself, but understanding the importance of basic maintenance and how each thing works to keep your car in good shape is important. 

    • What’s the most important thing people can do going into winter season to keep their car in good shape?

      Definitely check your tire pressure, and have both your tires and brakes checked. The less tread your tires have, the more you’re going to slide around in wet and icy weather. Stopping power is always important, but especially so during the winter season.
