Works

CarCare To Go provides the most convenient and safest way to get your car repaired or maintained. CarCare To Go will pick-up your vehicle from home or office, bring it to a CarCare service center, and then return it when the work is done.

1Pick-up

  • Driver will text or call as they leave the service center with an estimate of their arrival to your location.
  • Upon arrival at your location, they will text you so you can coordinate handing off the keys to your vehicle.
  • After sanitizing the vehicle they will drive your vehicle back to the service center, and you’ll get a text confirming the vehicle has arrived safe and sound.

2Service

  • After inspecting your vehicle, a service advisor will be in touch via text or phone to confirm the work needed, cost, and estimated timing.
  • You will be asked to provide approval via text or email.
  • A service advisor will be available to answer any questions or provide further details.
  • The service advisor will arrange payment for the service via phone or text.

3Return

  • A service advisor will confirm via text that the work is complete and confirm a time to arrange the vehicle’s valet back to you.
  • You will receive a text when the vehicle leaves the service center with an estimate of when the vehicle will arrive.
  • Upon arrival at your location, your valet will text you to let you know they have arrived, and then sanitize the vehicle before depositing the keys and returning your vehicle back to you.

Yes! We provide complimentary pick-up and delivery from your home or office within about 15 miles of our service center in Bethesda.

There is NO mark-up for services provided during valet appointments. The prices are the same whether you do the driving or we do the driving. We offer below-market prices on standard maintenance like oil changes and competitive rates on all major repairs. And you have the ultimate protection: if you choose not to have any work done, we’ll return the car to you without charge. Here are more details on pricing.

Routine maintenance such as oil changes or alignment are same day return if you choose a pick-up time before noon. If more complicated repairs require additional time, your service advisor will be in touch with details around the work needed and estimated timing. You choose how to proceed. We will always work to fit your schedule so let us know if you have any special requests.

Yes, for some, but not all, makes. We can provide warranty and recall work for brands that are serviced by our partners at Ourisman Automotive. This includes: Audi, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Lincoln, Ram, Subaru, Volkswagen, Volvo, Honda. For other brands, we’ll refer you to the closest dealerships.

We have designed our process to have dramatically less contact than a standard mechanic. You to stay home while we do all the traveling and work. Our drivers and staff follow CDC guidelines and wear masks, gloves, and do a last wipe down before returning your vehicle. Transfer of your keys should happen outside.

Yes. The CarCare Commitment that comes with all our work covers you for 12 months or 12,000 miles.

In the unlikely event that your vehicle is damaged while in our possession, we’ll fix it. We take images of your car before taking it into the shop to help identify any issues. Our drivers, technicians, and overall business are insured.

Unfortunately,  we are unable to use client-provided parts. We’re happy to use manufacturer or high quality aftermarket parts based on your preference.

Almost all vehicles are taken to our CarCare To Go service center in Bethesda, Our technicians are trained and certified by Ourisman Automotive which has been serving the DC community for 100 years. The only exceptions are if you’re too far away or if you need warranty or recall work that requires a franchise dealership. In those cases, we’ll take your car into an Ourisman service center. In both cases, we’ll be transparent with what’s going on every step of the way with text, calls, videos, and photographs.
