CarCare To Go provides car maintenance and repair in three easy steps: 1. Schedule your appointment online. 2. A valet picks up your vehicle and brings it in for service. 3. After the work is done a valet returns the vehicle to you. The valet is always free and every appointment includes a free safety inspection and light hand clean. It’s as easy as ordering groceries online. You can find more detail here

Most used vehicles are required by Maryland Law to undergo a safety inspection prior to its sale or transfer. Generally, the seller or transferor of the vehicle is required to obtain the inspection certificate.

Moving into the state of Maryland also requires a state inspection. The safety inspection should take about 1-½ hours for most vehicles once the registered inspection mechanic begins work.

You will need an inspection when:

  • Registering an out of state vehicle
  • Purchasing a used vehicle
  • Receiving a vehicle as a gift or inheritance

Before operating a vehicle in Virginia, it must pass an annual safety inspection and display a valid safety inspection sticker. Be warned: if you drive your vehicle without an inspection sticker, you may be ticketed by law enforcement. A conviction for violating Virginia inspection laws could result in a fine and be posted to your driving record. For information about safety inspections, or to find safety inspection stations near you, contact the Virginia State Police at www.vsp.virginia.gov or (804) 674-6774.
